The inflation adjusted price for 20 cigarettes looks wrong compared to all the other values.

Should be more like £2+.

Steven

I agree. It does look wrong. I'll have a look

Hi Steven,

Thanks - glad I understand it and not going mad!

Love your site.

Steven

Yes it was wrong. I have updated it thanks

Gerard
Is there any chance of adding to the lists? Items such as: Recordings (ie vinyl 'records' for the 1960's - 1980's, CDs from 1985. 'Videos' (ie VHS)for the 1980s. Clothes (say, based on an 'average-priced national retailer - such as M&S.

Hi Caroline, It is going to be from 1975 to 1976. According to Shaw's retail price guide for June 1975 an 8oz jar of Marmite cost 45p. The guide was for small shops. Tesco might have been cheaper. So I would say 1975-1976. Best regards

I have an 8oz jar of Marmite with a 46p price tag on it. What date do you think that would have been from Thanks
Steven
Hi Jenny, Please let me know what things you are trying to find. Thanks Steven
