Retro furniture

Furniture to sell

I've got some furniture from the sixties and want to sell it. How do I find out how much it's worth?

If you are a member of eBay you can look at the prices similar items sell for on completed listings. This is the most reliable way of finding out how much something is worth.

Do you buy furniture?

No, unfortunately RetroWow doesn't have the storage facilities to buy and sell furniture. Sorry!

Value

You've written quite a lot about furniture from the sixties, does that mean it's worth a lot of money?

Sadly, not usually. A few pieces by well-known designers are worth real money, but the vast majority is only worth the price of a second-hand piece of furniture. Actually that's no bad thing because if you want to furnish your home in the retro style, you can do it quite cheaply.

Do you value furniture on-line?

The value of a piece of furniture depends on a number of factors - condition, age, style and above all someone willing to part with their hard-earned cash for it. Regrettably, we are unable to value furniture online. The best way to find out how much something is worth is to have a look at completed listings for similar items on eBay.

Retro locations for photography

Do you have a location where I can photograph items from the site?

No, unfortunately we are unable to offer a location to photograph items from the site.

Do you know anyone who has a retro home where we can photograph?

Regrettably, we do not know of anyone who has a retro home furnished with products of the 50s, 60s or 70s who is willing to allow access for photography.
