Centigrade or Celsius?
Before I studied science at school, I always thought it was Centigrade. Then I learnt to call it Celsius in the late 1970s. I always preferred Centigrade. Centigrade was the more common term in the 1950s and 1960s and this is a retro site, so I'm using Centigrade.
But take your pick, there is a subtle difference, but to all intents and purposes they are the same.
