Hanley is a historic market town in the Potteries. It is part of the City of Stoke-on-Trent, which was formed by the merger of the six towns of Stoke, namely Hanley, Stoke, Burslem, Tunstall, Longton, and Fenton. Hanley is the main shopping area of Stoke.
