"We moved into our house in the Whittlesey Fens in 1963. It cost my parents 2250, the mortgage was 18 per month. My mother still lives in it today and I love that house dearly. It always has a homely feel, safe. When we moved in it had no central heating so in the winter you went to bed with cardi's on.
