Hi

My parents have a tan coloured brushed hide modularsofa (straight or on 2 walls). All cushions are 100% feather and there is also a matching armchair. They bought it in the 1970s and are having to sell as they are moving abroad. Is there a market for this type of furniture and where would be the best place to advertise and also what would be an idea of cost?

The best market for retro furniture is eBay. The best way to get an idea of the value is to look at eBay completed listings. If you can find something similar you will get an idea of value.

It sounds quite a cool sofa. Corner groups seem to sell quite well. A Danish corner sofa from the 70s sold for £650 recently. It's all down to desirability of the design and condition.

For Retro furniture I would like top prefer G-Plan. Though eBay is also a good source but I like the services and varieties of G-Plan.
