Back in the 1970s one of my favourite 'nibbles' was Gingerellas - an ultra-thin ginger- and cinnamon-flavoured biscuit that melted in the mouth. I think McVities may have manufactured them, but I don't 100% recall that. I have long wondered whatever happened to them and - as advised by Mr. RetroWow himself - I have therefore started a forum thread to get the ball rolling for a possible Wispa-style 'bring-them-back' campaign.

Does anybody else on the forum remember them? - and even better can they give any reason why the manufacturer chose to discontinue such a winner?
