i dj 60s music but with a bit of 50s and 70s too...

our show used to be called the vinyl villains but since my friend left i need to think up a new name. i need a recognisable name but yet will fit into the same era of the music we are playing. id keep vinyl villain without the S but we havnt played vinyl ina while and so it would be a lie to keep on the same name.

any suggestions?

rachelle

I think you could possibly use the term 'discotheque' somewhere in your title. The term was in common use from the early sixties through to the early seventies when it was replaced by the shortened version of 'disco'.

Discotheque is certainly a word that evokes the time-period that most of your playlist covers.

As for using Vinyl Villain. I don't think it matters whether or not you actually play vinyl discs as the songs will all be from music's vinyl heyday, so I can't see the Trades Description people coming after you!
